We work to enhance girls’ access to education, learning and growth opportunities. We also invest in supporting girls’ through school, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills they need to lead, grow and thrive.

Iye Ndi Nyenyezi (Inn) Scholarship Fund

Our flagship scholarship fund places selected secondary school going girls into an intensive leadership development programme underwritten by a full 1 year scholarship which is renewable based on performance.

Community And Policy Engagement

Fuula Campaign

FUULA is a Chichewa word which means to 'SHOUT' and is our flagship campaign to end violence against women and girls EVAWG. Pioneered in 2018, the campaign ran during the 16 Days of Activism and was led by 12 CSOs and coordinated by EGISA.

EGISA is the administrative partner/local secretariat for PEPETA AFRICA, a feminist movement in SADC. PEPETA Africa is advocating for equality and gender justice. The advocacy agenda is centered around the core principles of nurturing sisterhood, building solidarity and fighting patriarchal structures and systems that limit girls and women’s ability to attain their full potential and enjoy unfettered access to their human rights.

She Decides Malawi

EGISA is a local Task Force Member of the global She Decides Movement. We are playing a key role in the establishment and launch of the movement here in Malawi. SheDecides is a global political movement driving change, fueled by actions in communities, with young people at its heart. We are united by the belief in the right of every girl and every woman, everywhere, to make the decisions only she should make. We are committed to a world where SheDecides.
