Founded in 2018, EGISA is a women’s rights organisation working towards a gender equal society with equal access to opportunities for education, health and empowerment for women and girls. EGISA uses a feminist approach in fighting for the advancement of women and girls' rights. Our work centers on eliminating the barriers and creating enabling environments for enhanced access to education for girls, because we believe, when a girl is educated, she can grow, thrive and lead and challenge systems of oppression. EGISA are also the custodians of the award winning #SheTalks, a platform for dialogue on issues that matter to women and girls and the FUULA Campaign on ending violence against women and girls.
A world where every girl can realise their full potential
EGISA seeks to empower adolescent girls in Malawi through education, enabling them to learn, grow, thrive and lead.
